Mount'n Mover is a versatile and accessible wheelchair mounting system that can be customized and changed, according to your needs. Mount'n Mover locks securely but unlocks and moves easily.

Designed with a focus on positioning and ease of use,m it is unsurpassed in flexibility and accessibility

This Single Arm module sits atop a vertical pole which is attached to a wheelchair, a floorstand or clamped to a desk.

Features

The Single Arm, with one 7.5” long arm, offers flexible, but somewhat limited positioning when compared to the Dual Arm. It offers significantly more reach than the Tilt’n Turner..

  • 2 joints, 24 locks per joint, 576 possible combinations
  • Hoop unlocks both Shoulder and Elbow joints
  • Paddle unlocks the Device/Wrist
  • Tilt adjusts from flat to vertical, and locks in-between

Consider the Single Arm if… You don't need the reach and flexibility of the Dual Arm.  The Single Arm offers:

  • A Lower profile and a more compact mount
  • A Simpler operation because you don’t need to learn to “steer” it
  • Lower device positions as compared to the Dual Arm;
  • Only one arm to swing over your legs or tray

Why the Single Arm Would be Needed

You need a longer arm, so you can:

  • Only need to swing your mounted technology in and out
  • A compact mounting arm
  • Lower profile
  • You are using lighter technology like iPad, a camera or AAC device

You have limited reach:

  • Less range of motion is required to move it to another position
    • The Hoop unlocks both the Elbow and Shoulder
    • Move the arm laterally, and
    • The device remains within reach

Choose from two hinge torque settings:

  • High Torque - for when using it with heavier devices (stops it swinging and alleviates momentum)
  • Low Torque - for when using it with lighter devices

The Single Arm Mount'n Mover module can be purchased by itself or in conjunction with other Mount'n Mover accessories to create a Mount'n Mover Kit just right for you.

Full extension

  • 19 cm from shoulder to wrist joint
  • Tilt from 0° to 110°

User Controls

  • Easy-access, one-handed operation
  • Hoop unlocks shoulder only
  • Paddle unlocks wrist
  • Tilt lock lever

Effort to unlock and move

  • < 500 g of force required to unlock, the force required to move the arm varies with device weight. Adjustable friction screw can manage the force required to move the arm.
  • < 500 g of force required to unlock the tilt. The force required to adjust the tilt depends on the hinge torque setting selected (high or low)

Reach required to reposition

  • Requires more reach to move out of the way.
  • The mounted device can be lower than Dual Arm; less distance from bottom of arm to top of device
  • Less placement versatility than dual; fewer locking and operating positions
