The Communicate AT demo DAESSY Folding Mount is available for hire on a 4-week block basis.

It includes the simple tools needed to construct it out of the box, a carry bag if you do need to deconstruct and move it elsewhere along with the options of DAESSY Articulating Quick Release Base if needed.

The rental periods are grouped into minimums blocks of 4 weeks at a time and are charged at that rate, even for hires of parts thereof. If more time is needed or a longer hire period is desired, we offer a sliding scale discount for longer periods, right up until 12 weeks where are a balloon payment can be made to purchase the Rolling Mount outright.

A Rental Agreement will be sent for signing and prepayment will be required prior to the equipment being release with either NDIS details or credit card the preferred methods.

More About the Mount

The DAESSY Mini Folding Mount can be folded away and down to the side of the wheelchair.

The two tubes of the Mount are connected by a joint that rotates in two planes.  This allows the horizontal tube, with the device attached or removed, to be folded to the side.  When folded and removed from the wheelchair the Folding Mount forms a more compact structure than the Mini Rigid Mount.  Sometimes the Folded Mount can be folded by the wheelchair occupant although returning the mounted device back to the "in use" position is often very difficult.

Mainly, the Mini Folding Mount offers convenience for transfers or for line of sight and a compact package for stowing (e.g. in vehicles etc).

DAESSY Mini Folding Mount Features

• Quickly and easily removed from the wheelchair.
• Non-directional. Attaches to either side of the wheelchair with the same components.
• Folds from in front down to the side of the wheelchair.
• ROP version is suitable for tilting seat systems
• Smaller version of the Standard folding Mount - a little more petitie but stil capable of up to 4.5kg weight capacity

The DAESSY Mini Folding Mount allows for attachment to Tilting Seat Systems and installation of the vertical pole beyond 15° from vertical. It includes a Removable Outer Piece and Removable Frame Clamp Receiver which allows the Mount assembly to be ‘locked’ in place whilst on the wheelchair.  This also llow the Mount to be quickly removed from the wheelchair.

This Mount is non-directional and can be attached to either side of the wheelchair with the same components.

• Upgrade the included standard Mini Quick Release Base to an Articulating Quick Release Base - highly recommended for Eye-Gaze systems

• Choose from Large or Small face
• Choose from no handles (allen key adjustemnt only), one quick handle or two quick handles
