The DAESSY RAM Tab-tite Holders for iPad allows connection and positioning your iPad on your DAESSY Mount via the DAESSY Quick Release Base system. It also allows you to easily remove the iPad from the RAM Cradle if required, as it's based upon RAM's fantastic Tab-tite Cradle. The best of both worlds.
The DAESSY RAM Tab-tite Holders for iPad are the same as any DAESSY device adapter and has a method of allowing the iPad to be released for use off the mount kit. It is compatible with all DAESSY Quick Release Bases, held securely whilst attached via the locking pin on the DAESSY Quick Release Base or released easily by pulling to spring loaded pin.
The DAESSY Holder for iPad can be left on the mount kit and the iPad easily removed if the iPad is required to be used in other specific settings.
This system is ONLY compatible with iPads in protective cases, like those from Otterbox, Griffin Technologies or Supcase etc. These types of cases are
generally "slim-line" and comprise of two plastic shells (top shell with screen protector and bottom shell) which clip together and then protected by a rubber bumper or silicon wrap of some sort.
The Tab-tite holder does not take large EVA foam cases.
There are two versions on offer depending on your iPad model. Holder A will fit 10" screen iPads and Holder B will fit iPads with 10.9" or 11" screens (A16 only).
It's not the iPad that determines the Holder type, it's the case being used. So bets to measure your case to make sure it's within the specifications outlined below.

Case Thickness (Depth) Range: 0.3cm - 2.8 cm
Holder B Dimensions (20U)
Height Range: 24.1 cm - 30.8 cm
Width Range: 13.9 cm - 17.8 cm
Case Thickness (Depth) Range: 0.8 cm - 2.2 cm
